A petition calling for a ban on the use of “dangerous substance” R1234yf in vehicle air conditioning systems has been rejected by the European parliament.
According to the German Federal Bureau of Statistics, the share of heat pumps used as primary heating device for newly constructed residential buildings was 32,2% in 2013 – a gain of 2% compared to 2012.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany made a statement about the continued development of transport air-conditioning systems based on the natural refrigerant CO2 instead of using doubtful alternative R1234yf.
