Andalusian manufacturer Keyter is to use Honeywell’s HFO refrigerant R1234ze in a commercial scroll chiller for the first time.

Honeywell announced that its new Solsticeyf UV – a low-global-warming-potential (GWP) refrigerant incorporating ultraviolet (UV) dye for leak detection support in automobile air conditioning systems – is now available at all participating NAPA Auto Parts stores across the United States. This is the first time Solstice yf (R-1234yf) refrigerant with UV dye will be available in the aftermarket.

A new plant manufacturing the low GWP HFO refrigerant 1233zd has commenced production in Dahej, Gujarat.

US air conditioning and refrigeration equipment manufacturer has confirmed that HFO refrigerants will be the basis for “most” of its future European product applications.

Honeywell has announced the commercial availability of R452B, the lower GWP “mildly flammable” refrigerant alternative to R410A.
