Fundamentals of hvac - pressure measurement

When setting up and evaluating HVAC equipment we must have ways of measuring air pressure in the system. Pressure measurements can be used to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of HVAC system. With pressure measurements we can detect undersized components that will cause restrictions in the air flow, overwork the air handler and cause excessive noise. Pressure measurements can be used to ensure that air flow is balanced evenly throughout the duct branches and the appropriate amount of the air is delivered to each zone.
