Mandatory logbook F-Gas can be downloaded for free
The EFCTC refrigerant logbook, which was updated in order to comply with the new F-gas regulations, now is available for downloading.
The revised European F-Gas Regulation 517/2014 includes new requirements of record keeping for equipment operators, containing F-gases in quantities of ≥ 5 tones of CO2-equivalent and to hermetically sealed equipment containing F-gases in quantities of ≥ 10 tones of CO2-equivalent. Immediately after the publication of the original F-gas regulation (EC) No 842/2006, EFCTC and EPEE developed an electronic tool for equipment operators to facilitate their mandatory record keeping of the quantity and type of F-gases, that were installed, added or recovered during servicing, maintenance and final disposal. The tool, known simply as “The logbook”, has been downloaded by hundreds of companies in order to voluntarily monitor their refrigerant usage.
The previous Excel file now has been redesigned and supplemented with user-friendly menus, containing the list of equipment mentioned in the new regulation, data for more than 60 refrigerants and blends and GWP calculator for new blends.
