Dorin optimises top CO2 compressors
Pursuing a policy of continuous refinement of its products, Dorin has optimised the performance of its top of the range CD400 CO2 compressors.
Employing fluid-dynamic calculation tools, Dorin engineers have optimised the internal flow of the compressor, producing an extreme reduction in the drag of the oil from the compressor to the system.
According to Dorin, the new superquadro or short stroke bore-type ratio has been studied for the use of drivers with a wide range of frequencies, providing an excellent optimisation of variable frequency functions.
Both solutions are said to have also made possible a further reduction of pressure pulsations on the discharge line.
The changes made apply to the top-of-the-range models of the CD400 Series with displacements of 24.3m3/h and more, as shown in the table below.
The production of the new models will start from March 2018.
