Carrier extends AquaEdge chiller capacity
Carrier, a company that specializes in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, has recently expanded its AquaEdge 19DV water-cooled centrifugal chiller range.
This chiller was first introduced in Asia in 2016 and uses a low global warming potential (GWP) hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerant called R1233zd and Carrier’s EquiDrive two-stage back-to-back compressor. The AquaEdge 19DV also includes a variable frequency drive (VFD) and a free cooling feature.
With this expansion, the AquaEdge 19DV chiller is now capable of providing cooling for applications with higher capacity, such as commercial high-rise and mixed-use buildings, large manufacturing factories, and healthcare facilities.
