Bitzer extends UK training
Bitzer UK has extended its programme of compressor training for system designers and installation engineers.
The one-day module provides a combination of theoretical and hands-on training, designed to get engineers up-to-speed with the latest technology and enable them to select, apply and maintain equipment competently.
Heading up the programme is Marcus Levy, head of technical training and business development at Bitzer UK. Marcus Levy said: “While the principles of refrigeration and compression don’t change, the technology – and not least the way it is controlled and optimised – are subject to constant development and innovation. To get the best out of today’s systems and ensure they perform at maximum efficiency, it is important to understand how they operate and how to commission and service plant correctly.”
He added: “The course covers everything you need to know, with hands-on practice for those at the sharp end of installation and servicing.”
Other courses cover a general introduction to compressor technology, plus modules on reciprocating compressors, inverters and condensing units. There is a focus throughout on UK requirements and applications.
The courses are held at the company’s UK headquarters in Milton Keynes. They are free and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
